Volunteer Treasurer Required
We currently have a small but strong Board of Directors with diverse professional expertise. Our Treasurer recently stood down from the Board after 6 years and we are seeking a new Treasurer who can support our charity through a period of change and support and develop our strategic plans for the future, ensuring we provide the most relevant and accessible information services possible.
The role offers the opportunity to a make a central and strategic contribution to supporting disabled people across Scotland with a range of pressing issues.
Other key aspects of the role include:
- Setting strategic direction
- Overseeing governance and regulatory compliance
- Supporting the Board and Manager will all aspects of financial management
- Risk management
- Board engagement, development and support
